Increasingly, I find myself talking in podcasts, this year, more and more about human psychology and less and less about business principles. Bearing in mind that the podcasts are drawn by the questions raised by emails I receive, I would say that 2012 also marks a year when perhaps businesses and businessmen face more issues centred around human behaviour in their business, than business strategy.

This brings me to the question of laziness. Laziness is a little used word in business these days. No one starts a business or long remains in one if they are not prepared to work hard at it. So the willingness to work hard is not a problem. As a matter of fact, more times than I care to remember, I see case studies of businesses where a lot of effort is put into use with very little real effect, but that’s a different issue to discuss on another day.

In this Online Marketing Help podcast we look at just how a new kind of laziness is afflicting today’s online business. Best-selling SEO and Social Media Marketing author, David Amerland, explains.
