One of the most popular questions I get asked when it comes to social media marketing is which social network is better to use? It’s an understandable question. Marketers and webmasters are always short of time and the idea that one social network is, somehow, better than another allows them to prioritise their efforts and get a maximum response.
There are two things to consider here, in my answer. First that social networks have a clear and direct impact on your SEO efforts by giving Google a strong social signal which impacts upon your website’s ranking and second that whichever social network you decide to use in your marketing will depend upon your target audience, what you do and the style of your social media marketing. There is no ‘one-size fits all’ social media marketing that you can undertake and see results.
In this Online Marketing Help podcast we look at just what you need to do in order to take a social media marketing shortcut that will give you the best return for your time and effort. Best-selling SEO and Social Media Marketing author, David Amerland, explains.
