When it comes to search engine optimization (SEO) there is a simple example I use which helps highlight its importance not just for webmasters but, practically anyone working online.
I use the analogy of light which is invisible to naked eye but which we notice immediately the moment it is not there. In the absence of light in the real world we see nothing. It is exactly the same online. You need SEO to help make anything visible. The analogy holds true at many levels. In the absence of light in the real world, for instance, we may be blind to the existence of something but we could stumble upon it, physically and feel our way around it.
It is the same online with SEO. In this SEO Made Easy podcast we look at just how important SEO is, at a conceptual level. Best-selling SEO and Social Media Marketing author, David Amerland, explains.
